ADHD School Training – CPD & INSET Sessions

 I provide ADHD training for schools that’s practical, and is rooted in both professional knowledge and lived experience.

 

After working in mainstream secondary schools, I saw how many students with ADHD were misunderstood or missed entirely. I know first-hand how challenging it can be to meet every need in a busy classroom, especially when juggling 30 learners, behaviour management, and a fast-paced curriculum.

 

That’s why my CPD and INSET sessions focus on realistic, actionable strategies teachers can implement straight away - small tweaks that create a big difference for neurodivergent learners.

What I Offer

I deliver tailored ADHD training to schools across Yorkshire and online, including:

​

• Whole school INSET sessions (1–2 hours, half day, or full day)

• After-school CPD during staff meetings

• Small group or SEN team workshops

• Online or in-person delivery

 

Each session is interactive, evidence-informed, and designed to leave staff feeling more confident in supporting pupils with ADHD.

Topics I Cover

Sessions are personalised to suit the needs of your staff. Examples of some of the topics covered in sessions include:

  • What ADHD really is (and what it isn’t)

  • Executive functioning and classroom impact

  • Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria (RSD) and emotional regulation

  • Supporting ADHD pupils 

  • Easy ways to adapt teaching without increasing workload

  • Building stronger relationships with neurodivergent learners

 

All training includes take-away resources that teachers can refer back to and share.
